The Functional Executive Committee and the National Executive Committee of the Ghana Alternative Party (GAP) have unanimously agreed to ally with the National Liberation Congress (NLC) ahead of the December 7th general elections.

This strategic partnership aims to challenge the longstanding political dominance of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the parties unite to offer an alternative vision for the nation’s future.

A statement by the party’s leadership indicates that the Ghana Alternative Party believes the NLC’s ideology aligns closely with their own, making the coalition a natural fit.

“Per the philosophy of our great party, it’s only NLC whose ideology synchronizes with us. Hence, our pairing as a unified body will amass a multitude for them to entrust the nation into our hands in the upcoming elections,” stated a spokesperson for GAP.

The alliance seeks to galvanize public support and inspire confidence among voters, positioning itself as a credible option to lead Ghana toward progress and prosperity.

GAP and NLC have called on the general public to prepare for what they describe as a “new wave of political temperature” in the country, promising to invigorate the electorate with their united vision and policies. The alliance aims to present a compelling case for change, hoping to resonate with voters nationwide.

The GAP-NLC coalition is set to launch an intensive campaign to promote its platform and engage with citizens, emphasizing the need for a transformative political shift.
