NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Ablekuma Central Constituency, Jefferson Sackey, has launched an ambitious campaign to accelerate development within the area.

Demonstrating his dedication to addressing the community’s most pressing issues, Mr. Sackey has made notable progress in resolving the long-standing water crisis that has affected parts of the constituency.

Earlier this week, Mr. Sackey kicked off the “Jefferson Care Water for All Project,” an initiative aimed at ensuring that every resident of Ablekuma Central has access to clean and reliable water.

Spearheaded by Mr. Sackey and funded through his NGO, Jefferson Care, this project seeks to provide sustainable water solutions to communities that have faced water scarcity for years.

In just one week since the project’s launch, five mechanized boreholes have been drilled in various communities across the constituency, including Mataheko, Adwenbu, Russia, Shukura, and Nkrumah Flats.

This swift action was in response to appeals made by residents during Mr. Sackey’s recent house-to-house listening tour of these communities.

Speaking on the projects, Mr. Sackey emphasized its importance in improving the quality of life for his constituents.

He said, “Water is a basic necessity, and it is unacceptable that in this day and age, communities still struggle to get a regular flow of water.”

“Through the Jefferson Care Water for All Project, we are not only addressing this critical issue but also laying the foundation for further developments within our communities.”

The project has been met with overwhelming support and gratitude from the beneficiaries.

Residents, who have long endured the challenges of water scarcity, expressed their relief and appreciation for the timely intervention.

A resident of Shukura, Mohammed Amin, expressed his appreciation, stating, “This borehole is a blessing to us, and we are grateful to Mr. Sackey for his efforts. It will go a long way to serve our water needs when we face the usual irregular supply of water”.

Mr. Sackey’s initiative goes beyond just providing water. The Jefferson Care Water for All Project is part of a broader agenda by Mr. Sackey to uplift the standard of living in Ablekuma Central.

He has also implemented projects to address other critical areas such as education, healthcare, and sanitation, to make the constituency a model of sustainable development.
