First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Bekwai Constituency, Joseph Osei-Wusu (Joe Wise), has endorsed Ralph Poku-Adusei, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

He urged constituents to vote massively for Poku-Adusei in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Joe Wise extended his unwavering support to Poku-Adusei, a private practice lawyer, during the official unveiling of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP-2024) for the Bekwai District on Friday, September 6, 2024.

In a post on his Facebook wall after the event, Joe Wise expressed his pride in endorsing Poku-Adusei as his chosen successor.

“Yesterday, 6 September 2024, was a momentous day in the Bekwai Constituency. I was thrilled to be joined by our Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (aka Wontumi), the MCE, Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour, and our Parliamentary Candidate, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, along with traditional leaders and party members, for the official unveiling of the DRIP program.”

“We also performed the sod-cutting ceremony for the groundbreaking AstroTurf project. During the event, I proudly presented Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei to my constituents as the chosen successor and urged them to support and uplift him. I also emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership and why Dr. Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, deserves to steer the nation forward,” Joseph Osei-Wusu wrote on his Facebook wall.

“Additionally, I took the opportunity to highlight the significance of the earth-moving machines we unveiled, explaining how they will benefit the constituency and play a crucial role in our development. It was a wonderful experience, and I’m grateful to have shared it with my people,” he added.

The NPP parliamentary candidate for Bekwai Constituency, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, has demonstrated exceptional qualities that have endeared him to the people of Bekwai. His impressive attributes have convinced the constituents that he is the ideal leader to represent them in the upcoming December elections.

Lawyer Ralph has proven to be resourceful, showcasing his ability to mobilize support and resources to address the needs of his constituents.

His swift response in clearing over 50-year-old refuse dumps at Adjamesu and 70-year-old refuse dumps at Poano is a testament to his resourcefulness.

Secondly, he has been productive, consistently engaging with the community and delivering on his promises.

His donation of 50 tables and chairs each to Essumeja M/A JHS and Dominase M/A JHS, along with his support for the Saviour Church’s school building project, demonstrates his productivity.

Lawyer Ralph has also shown sympathy and empathy towards the plight of his constituents, particularly the market women affected by the broken concrete slab at the Bekwai market. His prompt intervention to repair the slab demonstrates his compassionate nature. Furthermore, he solely funded the successful repair of the Bekwai Ambulance, which had been out of service for months.

Lawyer Ralph is also known as a listening leader, engaging with various groups and individuals to understand their concerns and needs.

His visit to the Bekwai lorry station to meet with driver unions, traders, and business owners exemplifies his willingness to listen.

The popular Amansie Youth Project, which has provided over 2,000 youth with employable and entrepreneurial skills, is another testament to his leadership.

He has maintained transparency and honesty in his interactions with the community, earning him a reputation for truthfulness. His energetic approach to campaigning and community engagement has inspired enthusiasm among his constituents.
