The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has highlighted the NPP government’s key achievements, emphasizing its ability to implement transformative policies such as the Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative, the restoration of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and the prevention of fuel shortages.

During a tour of the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem constituency, Dr. Bawumia addressed a gathering of chiefs and stakeholders, asserting that the NPP government has positively impacted various sectors of Ghanaian society.

“Not only have we implemented the Free SHS policy, but we have also implemented free technical and vocational education to give skills to our people.

“We have restored the teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and we have revamped the National Health Insurance Scheme. Childhood cancer and sickle cell patients, and kidney dialysis have also been captured under the NHIS.”

He further underscored the NPP’s commitment to addressing challenges in healthcare, education, and energy, framing these accomplishments as evidence of the party’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
