Election 2024: GJA, PRINPAG Open Application for Media Accreditation

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and the Electoral Commission (EC) have opened the application period for media houses to apply for proper accreditation to cover this year’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Members of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) who are interested in covering the December 7 polls are hereby requested to submit the full names and passport-sized pictures of their journalists to the National Secretariat for onward submission to the GJA for processing.

This initiative aims to streamline the accreditation process and ensure seamless coordination, a statement issued by PRINPAG Executive Secretary read.

Interested media houses it added are to use the following template for submission:

PASSPORT PICTURE: 

Details should be submitted in both soft copy and hard copy, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12. The passport pictures must be of standard size; no selfies will be accepted.

Kindly ensure that the required documents reach the Secretariat no later than 6pm. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
