The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed Assistant Head Coach of Borussia Dortmund, Otto Addo and Head Coach of Legon Cities, Maxwell Konadu as 1st and 2nd Assistant coaches of the Black Stars respectively.
The duo will deputize Milovan Rajevac who’s been unveiled as the new head coach of the team at a press conference at the GFA Secretariat.
Otto Atto is highly regarded by the FA and seen as a potential Head Coach of the Black Stars following his meteoric rise in football management since his retirement from active football in 2008.
The 46-year old represented Ghana for seven years (1999-2006), winning 15 caps and scoring 2 goals. Addo was a member of the team that represented Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Otto Addo has previously served as Assistant Coach at Borussia Monchengladbach, Hamburger SV and Nordsjælland.
For Maxwell Konadu, he is expected to use his rich experience in football to monitor players in the local league.
