He also urged the electorates renew the mandate of Mr Yao Gomado, the MP for Akan, to enable him to complete his unfinished business for the area.

Mr Opare-Addo made this appealed while addressing NDC supporters and sympathisers after a Health Walk in Kadjebi.

He said the campaign to retain the Akan seat for the NDC had commenced and urged the supporters and sympathisers to engage in house-to-house campaign to secure a resounding victory.

During the 2020 December 7 polls, Mr Gomado, a Marine Engineer secured to 19,317 votes, representing 58.69 per cent to win the Seat for NDC as against 13,300 votes, representing 40.41 per cent garnered by Alhaji Rashid Bawa, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Candidate.

Present were Mr John Kwadwo Gyapong, the NDC Oti Regional Chairman, Mr Gabriel Kwame Lemboe, Oti Regional Secretary, Mr Seth Alifui, a former District Chief Executive for Kadjebi, among others.
