The day would be observed with the lecture at the Eusbett International Conference Centre in Sunyani, capital of the Bono Region with His Excellency Former President J A Kufuor as the keynote speaker and Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako II, Vice President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, as the special guest of honour.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘The Youth in a Free Enterprise Society.’

The prime goal for the theme is to assist in empowering the Ghanaian youth to explore their capabilities and government programmes to activate their entrepreneurial competencies.

Guest speakers have been selected carefully from backgrounds that reflect the theme to create the needed impact.

They include Hon. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, Minister of Information; Hon. Mustapha Yussif, Minister of Youth and Sports; Hon. John Kumah, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Deputy Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development and Nana Kusi Appea Busia Jnr., Assistant Professor of Public International Law & research fellow at the School of Advanced Studies, University of London, UK.
