The Archbishop, in a worship and prayer thanksgiving joint service, reminded his congregation of God’s vested interest in the leadership of the nation.

The Archbishop Agyinasare made these declarations during the thanksgiving service of the Church marking the first Sunday of the month of December.

The service, dedicated to the Lord’s bountiful mercies and favour, saw hundreds of believers gathered to seek divine intervention for a peaceful election, on Saturday.

Archbishop Agyin-Asare urged citizens to trust in God’s plan for the country.

Drawing inspiration from 2 Samuel 23:3, he called for prayers not only for peace but also for wisdom for the nation’s next leader.

He prayed that the elected President would receive a commanding parliamentary majority to carry out policies that benefited all citizens.

The praise service, led by Pastor Seth J. Acquah and the Reverend Evan David, was filled with heartfelt praises and worship, reflecting a collective hope for a harmonious electoral process.

For many attendees, the gathering was a reminder of the critical role faith played in shaping the nation’s future – a call for Ghanaians to remain steadfast in prayer and unity to advance Ghana’s democratic credentials.

Archbishop Agyinasare led prayers for Independent Presidential Candidate Nana Kwame Bediako and Mr Sam George Nartey, Member of Parliament for Ningo-Pampram Constituency, who are members of the Church.
