In addition to the political parties, the Police extended their gratitude to the general public, particularly motorists, for their patience and understanding during the road diversions and blockages that were necessary to manage traffic flow for the rallies.

The leadership of the Police Administration also expressed appreciation for the dedication and professionalism exhibited by all officers deployed to ensure law, order, peace, and security throughout the events.

Their efforts were instrumental in creating a safe environment for all participants.

As the nation prepares for the general elections tomorrow, 7th December 2024, the Police have urged political parties, their supporters, and all stakeholders to maintain the same level of discipline, unity, and patriotism.

“Let us work together to ensure a peaceful election that reflects the democratic values we cherish as Ghanaians,” the Police statement emphasized.

The Ghana Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding a peaceful, safe, and orderly electoral process, ensuring that the country remains a beacon of democracy on the continent.
