In a statement he issued on behalf of the Traditional Council, he said: “We the Nananom and the entire people under the jurisdiction of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area are once again happy that your party, the National Democratic Congress, has been able to retain the Gomoa East and Gomoa West parliamentary seats.”
“In addition, our son Kwame Asare Obeng aka A Plus, also won the Gomoa Central seat as independent candidate.”
He said it was their prayer that the Omnipotent God would continuously bless, guide and direct him and the members of parliament with wisdom, strength, grace, mercy and zeal to execute their mandate without fear or favour to move Ghana forward.
He urged the incoming administration to hold the outgoing NPP-led government accountable for every pesewa spent during its administration to serve as a deterrent to others including their appointees.
“We also wish to remind you of the deplorable state of the road network in Gomoa, which need to be fixed for free movement of goods and services.”
