The Denkyira Development Association (DDA) has congratulated Mr Anthony Kwasi Sarpong on his appointment as the acting Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

The Association said the achievement reflected his unwavering dedication, professional acumen, and distinguished service as a Senior Partner of the KPMG Practice in Ghana and in other international positions.

This was contained in a statement from the Association, signed by Mr Barnor Lokko, its President, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, on Thursday.

The statement expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the honour done the appointee and the entire Denkyira community.

“This appointment is not only a great honour for Mr Sarpong but also a moment of immense pride for our entire community,” the statement explained.

According to the statement, Mr Sarpong’s extensive experience in high-ranking positions, coupled with his exemplary leadership and commitment to excellence, had positioned him as a highly respected figure in his field.

Also, his contributions as the Senior Partner of the KPMG had significantly impacted various organisations and sectors in Ghana, and expressed confidence that he would bring the same level of expertise and dedication to the GRA.

“We celebrate this remarkable milestone and look forward to witnessing the positive impact of Mr Sarpong’s leadership in his new role.”

“Once again, congratulations to Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, and our heartfelt thanks to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for this great honour,” the statement said.
