Parliament on Tuesday night approved Foreign Affairs Minister-designate and Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa by a majority decision.
The Minority New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Parliament abstained from the approval process due to issues on Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) and the failure of the nominee to submit certain documents demanded by the caucus among others.
Okudzeto Ablakwa’s approval was, therefore, secured solely by a voice vote with the Minority opting out.
