BCM Ghana Limited has accused businesswoman Angela List of orchestrating an illegal attempt to seize several of its properties across Accra.
According to company officials, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, armed land guards—allegedly acting on List’s orders—forcefully took over multiple BCM sites, including those at Spintex, the Tema Motorway Industrial Area, and Borteyman.
Eyewitnesses report that the armed group attacked BCM security personnel, destroyed surveillance equipment, and declared the seized properties as belonging to List.
A similar raid was attempted at BCM’s headquarters in Cantonments, but security forces successfully repelled the intrusion.
Company insiders claim this is not the first time List has attempted to unlawfully take control of BCM’s assets.
In response, BCM has officially filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), urging authorities to investigate the alleged attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
Additionally, BCM is currently involved in a legal dispute with List over a property at Airport, which she is accused of transferring into the name of a shell company.
The company has advised the public to exercise caution when dealing with her in matters related to BCM-owned assets.
Reassuring its stakeholders and business partners, BCM Ghana Limited has vowed to use all legal avenues to reclaim its properties and prevent any further unauthorized takeovers.
