Party Executives in the Fomena Constituency have dissociated themselves from what they describe as an embarrassing behaviour of its former Chairman,  Mr. Kwasi Nti, cautioning him to desist from his uncouth attitude or face their wrath.

In a strongly-worded statement issued and signed by the constituency executives, including Former Parliamentary Candidates in the area,  the executives warned that they would not allow Mr. Kwasi  Nti to drag the name of the constituency in the mud just to satisfy his greedy individual interest.

According to them, they have observed with disdain the recent outbursts by the former Chairman on some radio stations against the personality of the Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi.

“We are appalled by the recent behaviour of our former Constituency Chairman and wishes to dissociate ourselves from it. We want to state emphatically that Mr. Kwasi Nti is only engaging in unjustified personal vendetta which has nothing to do with the development of our dear party ” they noted.

The embattled former Constituency Chairman, whose reckless attitude was said to have cost the ruling party in the 2020 general elections, leading to the party losing the seat to an independent, went berserk on a local radio station in Kumasi,  accusing Chairman Wontumi of failing to fulfill a personal promise made to him.

He claims that he has never received any reward from Chairman Wontumi despite supporting him in his bids for the Regional Chairmanship.

However,  credible evidence available points to the contrarily as the information indicate Mr. Kwasi Nti has profited dearly from his association with the regional chairman since the party won power in 2017.
