Following her resignation, the Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has appointed Dr Cyracus Badinye Bapuuroh to take over the role in an acting capacity until a substantive Judicial Secretary is confirmed.

In a memorandum dated April 24, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie directed Dr Bapuuroh to assume the responsibilities of the post immediately.

“Wherefore you are hereby directed to assume the duties of Judicial Secretary pending decision by the Judicial Council and the eventual appointment of a substantive Judicial Secretary,” the memo stated.

The notice also instructed that members of the Judiciary, the Judicial Service of Ghana, and the general public should take note of the development.
