The National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Charles Dwamena, has advised students of the University of Cape Coast who are interested in leadership and entrepreneurship to step out boldly on the path of success without fear of failure.

Dr Dwamena who is also a former Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the People’s Republic of China, encouraged the students to start taking the baby steps today towards their dreams in leadership and entrepreneurship and that they should not allow the fear of failure to hold them back.

He said, “The perfect time you dream of may never come if you do not make a conscious effort to start today. What you think are baby steps today will become professional steps tomorrow.”

Dr China, as the former Diplomat is popularly known, was speaking at the leadership and entrepreneurship summit that was organized by the Atlantic Hall JCR of the University of Cape Coast under the theme; ‘Transformational Leader’

Other speakers at the event included Hon. Brogga Genfi Deputy Minister for Defense, Eric Kwabena Nyanteh CEO; Translight Solar (Leading Solar Company in Ghana), Mr. Elikem Kotoko; Deputy CEO, Forestry Commission, Prof. Mavis S. B. Mensah; Director, CESED, School of Business UCC; Mr. Sherif Ghali; CEO of Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, Ms. Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe; Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer.
