The Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has visited the two buildings within the constituency that were gutted by fire last week.
Both places within the Central Business District in the Adum area are the Agyekum Buildings and Akwanuasa House as well as the Old Times building near the Adum Palace.
Accompanied by the Regional Fire Command Second-in-Command, Alhaji Rashid Niwasu and Metro Fire Director, Mr Thomas Asiedu, Constituency Executive Committee Officers and the Dadiesoaba Assemblyman, Hon Akwasi Agyemang, the Regional Commander warmly received the entourage and assured of his commitment to combating crime in the region.
As part of the visit, the MP also paid an official visit to the new Ashanti Regional Commander, DCOP Afful Boakye-Yiadom, at the Central Police Command, Adum, Kumasi.
Mr. Boakye Antwi also commissioned a sixty (60) seater bus to T.I. Ahmaddiya SHS within the Subin Constituency.
The headmaster Alhaji Yacoub Abubakar and his teaching staff received the school bus on behalf of the great Amass Phobia SHS.
