GO AND SIN NO MORE!

“She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” (John 8:11)
Our calling in Christ is to serve as tools of grace for reconciling sinners to God. We are not to condemn them. Rather, we are to commend them to the word of God’s grace and let them know that they also deserve to wash in the blood of Christ. MHB 322 tells us that Jesus is ready to receive and our duty is to sound this word of grace to all:
Sinners Jesus will receive;
Sound this word of grace to all
Who the heavenly pathway leave, All who linger, all who fall.
Sing it o’er and o’er again:
Christ receiveth sinful men;
Make the message clear and plain:_
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Let us make the message clear and plain that Christ receiveth sinful men.
PRAYER
Dear Lord help us not to reject those you have put in a lot of sacrifice to save in Jesus’ name. Amen!
