Nigerian Sports Minister Sunday Dare has fired a warning at Ghana claiming the Super Eagles will beat the senior national team the Black Stars for the slot to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana hosts Nigerian for one of Africa’s slot to the World Cup on Friday, March 25, 2022 and rekindles the age-old rivalry between the two countries.
Ahead of the match, Dare believes the Super Eagles will triumph over the Black Stars since they will have the upper hand in the first-leg of the game.
“We are not going to Ghana to draw. We are going to beat the sh*t out of them,” he said on Wednesday and called on Nigeria to give all their best to secure a win in the match.
“Super Eagles should just go all out. There is insurance for their legs now,” he added.
The match kicks off at 19:30GMT in Kumasi before the Black Stars travel four days later for the return encounter in Abuja.
