The House had taken the Bill through the second reading and debated but the Minority walked out before the Speaker could put the question on the Motion.

The question was put in the absence of the Minority and the Bill moved on to the consideration stage.

Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta moved an amendment for the rate to be reduced to 1.5% from the initial 1.75%

The Bill is currently going through the consideration stage.
