The Ghana Police service has invited dancehall artist, Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly called Shatta Wale over a Facebook post about the death of artist manager Fennec Okyere.
According to a statement by the police, the singer is currently cooperating with investigators on the matter.
It indicated that the recently established Cold Case Unit has been working for months on all unresolved murder cases, including that of Fennec Okyere with support from the affected families
This follows a post by the singer on his Facebook page that reads: “Bull Dog since u r bringing out secrets. You will tell Ghanaians what happened to Fenick’s murder. And I am not joking about this!!! I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how you planned and that foolish act, get ready. This Akufo-Addo won’t give you a murderer chance to be on our streets.”
The post appears to be a veiled insinuation that Bull Dog was behind the murder of Fennec Okyere in 2014.
