National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Johnson Asiedu Nketia has called on Ghanaians to pray to God to establish a government that the country needs come 2024 elections.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving Service at the Perez Chapel International, Johnson Aseidu Nketia admonished the Congregant to pray against wrong choices in elections that will eventually bring negative consequences to the nation.

“Pray again not for the NDC to come to power but pray for this country so that we get the government that we need. God has given us choices so we have control over what we choose. But our choices come along with consequences. God has not given us the power to determine the consequences of our bad choices. So there are times where you make a bad choice, you must suffer a bad consequences. And that is where people say you get the government you deserve. We’re praying that the Lord will give Ghana the government that we need and not the government that we deserve because of our wrong choices,” Mr. Asiedu Nketiah said.

He also asked for prayers for the National Democratic Congress to sail through its Parliamentary and Presidential Primaries peacefully.

The leadership of the opposition NDC today, 8th January 2023 visited the Perez Chapel for a Thanksgiving Service following the party’s successful congress some weeks ago.

The party’s new National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary Fifi Kwetey and the national executives among others attended the service held at the Church’s auditorium located at Dzorwulu near PBC in Accra. 3news.com
