The Minister tendered his resignation to president Akufo-Addo some minutes ago.

The Sites sources said there has already been a verbal communication of the decision to President Nana Akufo-Addo.
It insists that the resignation letter would be officially handed to the President during a meeting at 2pm today.
It is unclear the reason behind the resignation but sources claim the move is to give the presidential hopeful the time to begin his campaign.
Dr. Akoto then becomes the second Minister to have resigned after Alan Kyerematen who resigned last week.
