A Member of the National Democratic Congress, Dela Coffie has questioned if the immediate past Trades Minister, Alan Kyerematen has been a member of an all-talk government.

In a Facebook post, the NDC Communicator and Activist wondered the rationale behind the coinage of the term ‘No Action, Talk Only ‘(NATO) in his address to the nation on Monday.

He assured a phase out of the NATO system to usher in what he described as ‘Great Transformational Plan'(GTP).

Mr. Kyerematen who resigned as Trades Minister last week in a public broadcast threw subtle jabs at the Nana Addo government.

He had among other things promised to run a lean government when voted as president, leaving many Ghanaians to wonder whether he has not been a beneficiary of a large government.

Taking to Social media, Mr. Coffie is sure  2023 promises to be action packed for the politics of Ghana.

He wrote: “By implication and in theory, Alan K is actually saying he has been serving in a ‘talk only, no action’ government for 6 years. Oh wow – The utter hypocrisy of talking down on a government that you are part of, whilst at the same time leveraging your association of the system to launch a political campaign.”

The NDC Activist added: “Indeed, Alan may have had the judgement to make decent decisions in the past, but then, it appears that he also enjoys rubbing chilli powder in his own eyes.”
