The John Mahama campaign will make its next stop in the Bono East Region on Friday, February 10, 2023, after what spokesperson Joyce Mogtari says was a “very successful campaign launch and tour of the Volta Region.”
Mr Mahama, who is leading the pack in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries in May this year, will be campaigning for two days in the region.
He will visit all eleven constituencies in the region to campaign directly and interact with branch and constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mahama launched his campaign at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho, last week, asking the party’s delegates to vote massively for him. He noted, among others, “in all humility, and response to calls from my party and the generality of the people of Ghana, to offer myself, to serve this country and its people that I love so dearly…”
According to Mahama, who is the clear frontrunner in the quest to lead the NDC to the 2024 polls, he is in no doubt about the enormity of the task ahead “owing to the level of damage done to our country by this government.”
The John Mahama Campaign will continue to the Bono and Ahafo regions from the Bono East Region.
President Mahama is being accompanied on the tour by the Convener of the John Mahama Campaign, Professor Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Campaign Spokesperson Joyce Mogtari, former NDC appointees, former MPs, former Ambassadors, Regional, Constituency and Branch Executives of the party.
