Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has responded to a decision by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to expel him from the party.

In a cryptic post on his Twitter handle, the former Deputy General-Secretary described himself as a Son of God who would go on to achieve something greater away from the NDC and stressed that what evil men mean for wickedness is turned around for good.

He alluded to how Joseph went on to become a Prime Minister in Egypt after his brothers sold him into slavery.

He wrote: “Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery; they did not know they were selling him into his God-given destiny to become a Prime Minister in Egypt. What evil men mean for wickedness; God turns it around for good. I am a Son of God🙏🙏🙏”

Koku Anyidoho has been on suspension since February after two petitioners lodged an official complaint against him for breaching the party’s disciplinary code as contained in the NDC Constitution.

The party on Tuesday, however, officially rusticated the suspended Deputy General Secretary after the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) approved recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee, which found Koku Anyidoho guilt of allegations of misconduct and anti-party behaviour.

The FEC, acting in compliance of Article 48(1) of the NDC Constitution unanimously adopted the report of the Disciplinary Committee and accepted full responsibility for the expulsion.
