Later receiving the forms, Ken Agyapong dispelled rumours that he was in the race doing the bidding of another candidate.

Thanking his team, he said the forms should put paid to reports that he was only paving way for another candidate.

For the Essikado Ketan MP, Joe Ghartey, Ghana will be better under his tenure as President.

The forms were picked at GH¢50,000 each.

Submission is to be done before or on Saturday, June 24, when nominations close.

So far, 10 aspirants have picked forms to contest the primaries.

They are: Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko, Francis Addai-Nimoh, Kojo Nsafoah Poku, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku and Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto.

The others are Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Ken Ohene Agyapong and Joe Ghartey.
