National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party, Mr. Salam Mustapha have charged the Oti regional youth wing of the party to work hard to deliver at least four parliamentary seats for the party and 50% of the presidential votes in the 2024 general elections.
He made this known when he took his turn to address the Oti regional youth wing and TESCON conference in Kete-Krachi under the theme Re-Energizing the Grassroots for Victory 2024; the Hope and Strength of the Youth, held at the Krachi SHS auditorium on Saturday, 3rd June, 2023.
The Road Master as he is affectionately called said, “I am extremely excited about the massive development the Oti region has witnessed under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.”
“It is now time for the good people of the Oti region, especially the youth, to reward the NPP by voting for us in 2024 to break the 8 and do more for the region.”
“The energy, zeal and fire-in-belly we saw on the ground have left us with a reinforced and an indelible belief that victory will be ours in 2024.”
“We are proud elephants. I can state without any fear of contradiction that, indeed, the NPP is on its way to making history as the first party to win elections 3 consecutive times with the support of each and every one of us seated here. We are breaking the 8 by the Grace of God.”
He continued, “I was here about two (2) months ago. Most of the roads were filled with dust. I am here today and almost all have been tarred. This is an indication that only an NPP government can solve our developmental needs for us. We have superior ideas and policy initiatives than NDC. I am not disappointed that Ghanaians are complaining because of the current economic difficulties. It is because they hold us in high-esteem.”
Prior to the youth wing and TESCON Conference, the National Youth Organiser joined the teaming youth in the Oti region for a mammoth health and fitness walk which witnessed several youths and party bigwigs joining the walk.
Other speakers at the event include the former MP for Suhum, Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah, who represented his excellency the Vice President, the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Joshua Makubu, Ghana’s Ambassador to Togo, H. E. Kofi Mensah Demitia, the Dean of MMDCE’s in the region, Hon. Nkrumah Kwasi Ogyile, the Regional Youth Organiser, Prince K. Amanor, the National TESCON Cordinator, among others.
The Oti regional youth wing put together such a wonderful program to train and orient its members and energize the base of the party towards a resounding victory in 2024.
The National Youth Organiser was accompanied by his deputy, Isaac Jay Nii Amahtey Hyde. As well as the National Youth Administrator, Prince A. A. Sadat and National TESCON coordinator, Eric Asonade Ofosu and other supporting staff.
