A former presidential aspirant in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) special electoral college, Kojo Poku is backing Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party in the 2024 elections.

Poku has called on the delegates to vote massively for Bawumia in the forthcoming NPP delegates’ congress slated for 4 November 2023.

Poku endorsed Bawumia when he visited his campaign office in Accra.

  • Ghanaian newspaper headlines: Wednesday 27th September 2023

According to him, the former deputy governor of the central bank is the best at the moment to lead the party and help it to retain power, adding that if Bawumia becomes the president of Ghana the youth stand to benefit more.

He said based on Bawumia’s performance over the years in leading the government digitalisation agenda, Ghana stands a greater chance of developing under his watch including the creation of jobs for the youth.

Kojo Poku promised to go all out to campaign for Bawumia because he is the grassroots favourite and Ghana’s best choice for election 2024.
