England forward of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah, has been called up to England’s Senior National Men’s Football Team in the latest invitations handed out by head coach Gareth Southgate.

In England’s 1-1 draw with Ukraine, the 24 year old wasn’t even included in the England match day squad for the matchup despite three goalkeepers making the squad.
By not featuring in any of the games, Nketiah is still eligible to play international football for Ghana’s Black Stars despite playing for England at the juniour levels internationally.
After starting the 2023-2024 season on a strong note, Nketiah’s form has fizzled with the forward scoring two goals and having an assist in 10 games in all competitions.
Arsenal plays Manchester City next on Sunday, October 8.
