Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Dr. Gideon Boako noted that a large population in Ghana strongly believes Dr. Bawumia has outperformed as Vice President, thus he becoming President will see the country make great strides.

“Why do you think a lot of people believe that Bawumia is the Vice President who has most distinguished himself in Ghana?

Why?”, he asked and answered, “many people assert that he has been the most impactful Vice President because his character is distinct”.

Dr. Boako, who is the Spokesperson for the Vice President, affirmed that Dr. Bawumia has “exhibited an outstanding performance that lots of Ghanaians believe he has made a lot of impact as the best Vice President in the country, so to speak”.

“So, if he has achieved this even as Vice President, what shows he cannot be the best President of this country?”, he rhetorically questioned.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is among four candidates contesting the flagbearer election of the New Patriotic Party.

Dr. Bawumia hopes to be elected leader of the party and strongly believes he will lead the NPP to victory in the 2024 elections.

The Vice President came up tops in the NPP Super Delegates Conference in August this year which aimed at selecting five candidates from the 10 presidential aspirants and due to the overwhelming polls he attained, there are predictions he will win the November 4 election and become the NPP Presidential candidate.
