The President, Nana Akufo-Addo has declared Monday, 7th December, 2020 a public holiday.

The decision is to allow as many people as possible to go to the polling stations across the country to cast their ballots.

Communications Director at the presidency, Eugene Arhin announced this in a statement issued on Wednesday evening.

He said the President arrived at this decision after the EC requested that the day be made a public holiday.
