A group calling itself the Alliance For Footsloldiers Advocacy (AFFA) is calling on the government to withdraw the appointment of Ken Ofori-Atta as the Senior Presidential Advisor And Special Envoy For International Finance And Private Sector Investments.
According to the Group, Mr. Ofori-Atta remains the only Finance Minister under the Fourth Republic who has received public condemnation over his handling of the economy.
The Group in a statement stated that the appointment of Mr. Ofori-Atta to the novel position amid the current economic challenged is a slap on the faces of the Ghanaian electorates.
