Naa Torshie’s congratulatory message stressed Napo’s impressive competence and accomplishments in various high-profile ministerial positions.

She emphasized his extensive experience in governance and legislation, expressing confidence in the formidable candidature of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh to lead the party to success in the upcoming elections.

She stated, “As a well-grounded politician with extensive experience in governance and legislation and a drive to deliver impactful results to improve the fortunes of Ghana and the New Patriotic Party, I am confident in the formidable candidature of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh to lead the party to success in the upcoming elections in December 2024.”

She called on all NPP supporters to respect the decision of the National Council and unite behind the Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh ticket.

She urged party members to close ranks and work harder to secure victory on December 7, 2024.

“With the endorsement of Dr. Opoku Prempeh by the National Council of NPP as the running mate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, I would entreat all NPP supporters to respect the decision and quickly close ranks to support the Bawumia and Opoku Prempeh ticket for the forthcoming elections. Their success is the success of NPP, regardless of anyone’s preference, and that should be our orientation and focus to spur us on to work harder to secure victory on 7th December 2024,” she added.

Naa Torshie expressed gratitude to her supporters and those who had confidence in her as a potential running mate.

She emphasized the importance of unity and hard work in achieving the party’s goal of breaking the eight-year cycle in Ghanaian politics and continuing the good work of building a self-reliant economy and a thriving country.

“Now the hard work begins. Let us all join forces and work extra hard with a common purpose to BREAK THE 8 and secure a resounding victory for NPP to continue the good work of building a self-reliant economy and a thriving country,” she stressed.
