The Central Regional Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Isaac Mensah Blankson, has described Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Energy Sector Minister Mathew Opoku-Prempeh as the best ticket to break the 8-year jinx.

Mr. Mensah described the decision to choose Mathew Opoku-Prempeh as one not only good for the fortunes of the party but also a move that will have enormous benefits for the country at large.

According to him, the data shows vividly that President Akufo-Addo’s administration has introduced policies and programs geared towards improving the living standards of the masses.

He said Ghanaians have accepted the ticket of Dr. Bawumia and Mathew Opoku-Prempeh as the best team for the country’s leadership.

He admonished Ghanaians to be vigilant and decode any NDC campaign message that seeks to undermine the credibility of Akufo-Addo and the NPP administration.

He urged members of the elephant fraternity to work assiduously towards winning more seats to have a majority in Parliament so as to speed up the work of the business of the house, adding that without getting the needed majority, the opposition would continue boycotting good policies that can possibly transform the country.

He said the party has targeted winning more parliamentary seats in the Central Region, as had already been predicted by the Majority Leader, Alexander Kwamean Afenyo-Markin.

“The NPP has 19 parliamentary seats, but with hard work and commitment, we will surely win more seats to have a majority in Parliament,” he said.

He also urged the rank and file of the party to forge ahead in unity and togetherness, reiterating that members ought to eschew any unholy activities that would ruin the chances of the party come December 7.

He warned Ghanaians not to cast their votes for the NDC if they indeed wanted the younger generation to continue enjoying the free SHS policy, stating that Mahama and the NDC are against the policy since its implementation in 2016 and it is evident that the policy would be abolished in the next NDC government.

Mr. Mensah appealed to Ghanaians to endorse the ticket of Dr. Bawumia and Mathew Opoku-Prempeh by voting for them massively come December 7.
