The institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) is set to organize Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates for candidates ahead of the December general elections.
According to the IEA, the debate would serve as a platform for the candidates to discuss the various strands of Ghana’s development process.
This IEA’s announcement for public debate comes at a time when both Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, also the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former President John Dramani Mahama have invited each other to a public debate ahead of the December 7 polls.
However, the IEA is yet to announce the date and time for the public debate which promises to be a fierce battle between the presidential candidate of the two leading political parties.
