The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is allegedly sponsoring Odeneho Kwaku Appiah in a “fruitless exercise” to get Chairman Wontumi out of office as Ashanti Regional Chairman – a staunch NPP members in the region, Obaa Yaa aka, Race Course has revealed.
She disclosed on Wontumi TV that, all the goodies Odeneho has been sharing with delegates were all bought and delivered to him by the NDC.
“NDC is sponsoring Odenoho. All the rice and cooking oil he is distributing are all from the NDC”, she said while she called on the party to maintain Chairman Wontumi as Regional Chairman in the Ashanti region.
The NPP woman continued that, she once visited Odeneho at his office and to her surprise, “he was watching a station that belonged to the NDC”.
Obaa Yaa, however, dismissed the idea of replacing Chairman Wontumi with Odeneho explaining that, he (Odeneho) once told the public that “the NDC is not comfortable with the current Ashanti Regional Chairman”
She, therefore wonders why he (Odeneho) is stepping up his effort to contest Chairman Wontumi.
