A Parliamentary Aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ablekuma Central Constituency, Collins Amoah has reiterated his pledge to dedicate his salary during his tenure as Member of Parliament to the welfare of constituents when given the nod.
He explained that the salary would be given to the constituency to support the well-being of the delegates.
The Businessman who has been hailed by the rank and file of the party in the constituency for his initiatives for widows and the underprivileged persons noted that his interest is in the wellbeing of the constituents.
The NPP Ablekuma Central Parliamentary Aspirant was addressing a gathering after receiving nomination forms purchased for him by widows in the Constituency for the upcoming primaries.
Mr. Amoah noted that NPP has what it takes to break the eight, stressing that the NPP must win the 2024 polls in order to sustain the gains made by President Akuffo-Addo.
The businessman called for unity within the rank and file of the party in its bid to make the party’s ambition of “breaking the 8” a reality.
“We have the power to break the eight; we need collective ideas to spearhead the agenda of winning 2024 elections and beyond…” he stated.
Explaining further the reasons the delegates must give him the nod to lead the Constituency to the 2024 polls, the Businessman intimated that he has the feasible policies, strategy and the programmes to spur the constituency on to the path of development.
He insisted that the good policies of the NPP has to be continued adding that the delegates and electorates in the constituency must eschew the politics of insults and acrimony.
Mr. Amoah urged the electorates to consider the policies of candidates before voting stressing that he will change the current situation and reclaim the Ablekuma Central Constituency Parliamentary seat.
Samuel Baiden the Campaign Manager of Mr. Amoah urged the delegates to go and market the candidate to the electorates in order to win the seat for the NPP.
Mr. Andrew Zotoo, a representative of the widow and delegates in the constituency handing over the forms to the candidate said the widows believe in the candidate as the right person for the job.
Mr. Amoah has rolled out a health and death insurance package for the elderly delegates above 50 years in the constituency.
Already he is being credited with a job fair which has seen dozens of youth in the constituency securing various jobs to live meaningful lives.
Four candidates including Presidential Staffer Jefferson Sackey, former NPP MP Ebenezer Nartey are vying to represent the NPP in the constituency in the run up to the 2024 elections.
