According to an official statement from the party, Adwoa Safo’s recent comments on Joy News’ Pulse Show violated a directive instructing all NPP members to refrain from discussing internal party matters in the media.

The directive was issued to prevent statements that could create disaffection, unrest, or negativity within the party.

The party emphasized that as a former Deputy Majority Leader and Minister of State, Adwoa Safo was expected to uphold the values of discipline, loyalty, and unity.

However, her public utterances have been deemed contrary to Article 3(5) of the NPP constitution, which mandates members to promote and defend the party’s reputation.
