Politics is indeed a game of numbers. This saying is playing out in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region really fast.

This is because the under-fire Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo is trying her possible best to once again win the hearts of voters in the constituency months after incurring their wrath.

In the latest twist of drama at the constituency, Adwoa Safo who days ago rendered an apology to the party and her constituency executives over her long absence in Parliament is spotted sharing yogurt at the EC District office during the ongoing limited voter registration exercise in the constituency.

Pictures of the Act described as one intended to ‘cool the tempers’ of the constituents has since gone viral on social media sparking public discussions over whether or not the former Gender Children And Social Protection Minister deserves the mandate of her people.

According to her, politics is a numbers game and she has those numbers to retain her seat.

“Politics is a game of numbers, if it’s the will of God and the people want me, I will run again,” Adwoa Safo said.

Meanwhile, the Dome-Kwabenya executives of the party are insisting that they will not re-elect her as their Parliamentary Candidate.

According to them, they have had enough of her and thus want a new person to lead the party in the constituency in the 2024 general elections.

This comes days after Adwoa Safo declared her intention to contest Dome Kwabenya seat in the 2024 elections.
