I had an excellent, brotherly and productive engagement with one of our young, dynamic, budding and astute business moguls, whose commitment, intentions, aim and objective is to see to the prosecution of the growth of the marginalized in our society.
According to Ambassador Alhaji Salaamu Amadu, he is determined to bring hope, confidence, and positive and productive changes to humanity, especially to the masses of the deprived communities in our space.
A devout Muslim and a humanitarian, Alhaji Salaamu believes that every person has something positive to offer when shaped, prepared, organized, and given the opportunity.
He stressed that there is no useless person on this earth. To him, every human is or can be an asset to his or her family, community and nation if the right environment is created.
It doesn’t matter where an individual comes from, what is important is that he is a human with the senses of hearing, seeing, touching, feeling and smelling.
This gentleman runs a conglomerate of businesses from finance, estate and other productive ventures businesses.
He is the Chief Executive Officer/ Chairman of the Afro-Arab group of companies.
He has provided employment opportunities to many young men and women across the nook and cranny of our country so they can also make livelihoods.
During the interaction, he advises all not to start any venture if they cannot sustain it. He believes that any venture one wants to embark on, that venture or program must be something that must be sustained to benefit humanity. He stated that if it cannot be sustained, it should not be started.
To many folks, this is wise counselling, since many including our governments over the years, have begun many initiatives but failed to sustain them and these initiatives have become counterproductive and a drain on the national purse.
Continuing with this determined Ghanaian, he encouraged all not to rely on our various leaders but put their plans and intentions and go ahead to prosecute them. He said that with the support of Allah, he would resolve the housing deficit where there is more than a two million gap in that sector.
Ambassador Alhaji Salaam exhibits the traits of industry, honesty, commitment, dedication, seriousness, humility, generosity and above all the love of Allah. These are positives that must be emulated by all.
He also advised that all must eschew laziness, envy, backbiting, undermining one another, jealousy and any untoward act which are not right for the growth of our communities and the nation..
Chairman Salaamu also stressed the need for parents, Imams and opinion leaders to make both formal and informal education an essential project for the youth in the communities.
