Black Stars defender, Alexander Djiku has returned to full training with Strasbourg after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old picked up the injury last month in his side’s 2-2 draw against Toulouse.

Djiku also missed out on the team’s game last weekend against Olympique Marseille, leading many to raise concerns about the severity of the injury ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

But the Ghana International has now returned to the pitch and has begun training with his team.

Djiku is in line to feature in Starsbourg’s next league game over the weekend against Ajaccio.
