Ablekuma South: Samuel Lartey Wins NPP Parliamentary Primaries

The three (3) time parliamentary aspirant in the Ablekuma South Constituency has eventually broken the chain.

The primaries was a two horse race between Samuel Sarbah Lartey and Rita Akweley Addotey who once contested in Ningo Pampram but due to her unsuccessful bid ran to contest in Ablekuma South Constituency.

The parliamentary primaries held on 2nd December, 2023 saw Mr. Lartey winning 559 votes as against 379 votes by Rita Akweley Addotey.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has elected Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije as their parliamentary candidate for the third conservative time and ready to contest the 2024 general elections with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Lartey (Teacher Agoe).

Mr. Lartey is a native of the Constituency with a large family background and optimistic to win the seat in the numerous attempts by the NPP to win the seat since the Constituency was splited in 2012.

He was thankful to the Delegates for decisively voting to elect him to serve as their parliamentary candidate and pledged to unite and to make the NPP formidable and work with all the rank and file of the Party.
