Alan implores delegates to make him the flag bearer.

Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a flag bearer hopeful for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged party delegates to select him as their presidential candidate.

According to him, he has the best chance of becoming president in 2024 and leading the party to break the 8.

On the second day of his cluster of meetings with delegates in Dome-Kwabenya and Ayawaso West Wuogon last Wednesday, the flag bearer hopeful told party delegates that his experience in both the party and the government makes him the best flagbearer candidate out of all the others.

The former Trade and Industry Minister used his pioneering work on the One District, One Factory (1D1F) program and the Presidential Special Initiatives as examples of the change he could bring to the country if given the go-ahead.

He mentioned his unblemished persona in political life and hard work as some of the features that set him apart from the others.

At a meeting with representatives from the Ablekuma South, North, and Central constituencies in an open mini-durbar at the Suu Astro Turf in the Ablekuma Central Constituency last Tuesday, Mr. Kyerematen announced that, under his leadership, national executives of the party would receive salaries as well as social security benefits.

He vowed to lead an inclusive administration if the NPP nominated him for president of Ghana and he won.

He reaffirmed his steadfast dedication to Ghana’s industrial revolution and claimed that it was the key to releasing the country’s enormous potential.

The NPP flag bearer aspirant emphasized the critical necessity for the nation’s industrialization effort to use technology and innovation and emphasized the enormous prospects presented by digitalization, advanced manufacturing, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Mr. Kyerematen emphasized the significance of placing Ghana at the forefront of the technology transformation so that the nation may serve as a hub of innovation, draw in foreign capital, and offer the youth high-quality jobs.

The NPP flagbearer candidate was with his representatives from the constituencies of Ayawaso East, North, Central, Klottey Korley, and Odododiodioo.

Party veterans including the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Nii Ayikoi Otoo, the Minister of Railway Development, Peter Amewu, and the NPP constituency chairmen of the three Ablekuma districts were among those who travelled with Mr Kyerematen on the first leg of his Greater Accra trip.
