Residents nearby heard the commotion and rushed to kill the snakes.

The children lamented regular invasion of their compound by snakes, scorpions and other dangerous reptiles due to the bushes around the classroom block.

Aside the snake infestation, the school also lacks adequate teachers, furniture and other facilities at both the primary and junior high.

The situation is therefore making teaching and learning difficult.
