Some Campaign Team members in the Alan 4 President (A4P) fraternity are angry with Boniface Abubakar Saddique, described as the Chief Coordinator for the Team, for the disastrous performance of Alan Kyerematen in the Savannah Region, and the North, in the just-ended Super Delegates Conference.
The A4P Campaign, a senior member noted, had banked its hopes on Boniface Abubakar Saddique, a native of the Savannah Region, to deliver the votes, having assured his influence will be telling.
However, it turned out to be a disastrous return in the Savannah Region, as Alan Kyerematen polled only one vote in the Region.
More embarrassing to the campaign, the senior member stressed, is the zero Alan recorded in the Northern Region, the paltry 6 votes Alan recorded in the entire 5 northern regions.
The Alan Campaign feels the likes of Boniface, who was purported to be influential in Savannah and the North, and was tasked to deliver, failed the campaign.
“The single vote from the Savannah Region is very embarrassing for us, especially when you look at it that one of our Chief coordinators, Boniface Abubakar Saddique, who is a native of the region could not make any impact,” said the senior Alan Campaign official.
“We are really upset. We are very angry, because this does not represent our investment and expectations.”
Alan Kyerematen was tipped as a leading contender of the NPP flagbearership contest, but his ambition was completely blown away, following a very poor performance throughout the country.
He polled a paltry 95 votes out of the total valid votes cast to place a distant 3rd.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia won by a landslide, polling 629 votes of the 923 valid votes.
