He said this in his post-game presser after seeing his team deliver a dominant second half performance but waste several goal scoring opportunities.
The tie was the first of back to back 2025 AFCON qualification games against Sudan with the second leg set to take place in Benghazi, Libya on Monday, October 14 at 13:00 GMT.
After ruing his team’s missed chances in the crucial game, Addo was adamant Sudan got lucky with the point but won’t be so lucky when the teams face off again.
“Surely we will try to train finishing and give them (the players) confidence that’s all. This was the only thing which was missing, the strength was good, the passion was there, the defensive discipline was there, it’s just about to finish the actions that’s all.”
“Sudan was very lucky today and next time we see them in Libya they won’t be lucky then we will win that’s all.”
