Convoy of the vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was attacked on the Akosombo Accra highway Friday.
It is alleged that the attacker is a Police outrider who was leading a convoy made up of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.
The incident happened between Akuse and Kpong on November 29.
According to the driver of the affected vehicle whose windscreen was smashed, he suspects the other convoy was an “NPP convoy.”
Professor Jane Naana’s team was returning from the Oti Region after their two-day campaign tour of the
region. No one was hurt.
