Exhibit Dedication, Hard Work-Women Footballers Urged 

Mrs. Gifty Oware-Mensah, the Executive Council Member of Women’s Football has urged women footballers to exhibit dedication and hard work as the new Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season kicks off this weekend.

She stated that It is the time when the dedication and hard work put into training and preparation begin to shine under the spotlight.

“We stand united as a part of the football family, driven by passion and a pursuit of excellence. Challenges may come, but they are also opportunities to demonstrate our strength” Mrs. Oware-Mensah stated in a statement issued in Accra on Friday.

The Women’s Football Executive Council Member stated that “we find ourselves once again at the starting line of an exciting journey filled with challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments.”

She continued: “We are different teams with different visions, but we are also a family, bound by a common love for the game and a shared dream of success.”

Mrs. Oware-Mensah further noted “As we take the field, let’s wear our jerseys with pride, reflecting not only our clubs but also the values we hold dear. Every pass, tackle, and goal should mirror our commitment to teamwork, sportsmanship, and greatness.”

She was optimistic that together, “we’ll overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and learn from every experience. This league season is a canvas on which we’ll paint our story.”

Mrs. Oware-Mensah tasked supporters to continue patronizing their matches adding that “your presence is our inspiration. Let’s see more of you this season”.
